Thanks for finding me.

I'm a Southern belle turned Rococo rock star. I love fashion and France and friendly individuals.

Entries are largely public. Though, I like to lock more personal writings. I also love to share music, which will probably be locked, too.

If we have common interests or you like what you've read, please add me. Just drop a comment on this post, so I may add you back. ♥

Best wishes,

The following video contains strong language, but that just makes it funnier.

We lost an edgy, fierce comic mind. Mr. Carlin, you will be missed!

I have a new man in my life. He weighs two pounds, and he has fluffy red hair, soulful brown eyes, and a runny nose. Still, I think he's pretty handsome! ♥

Life has kept me from my dearest LJ, but I managed to throw together a quickie post for Saturday night. Hopefully, I'll post more on a couple of these topics later!

  • I saw Iron Man last week. It was absolutely phenomenal! I was reminded why I fell in love with Robert Downey Jr. in the 1990s before all his legal trouble. Great actor, smart superhero movie.

  • Booked my flight and hotel arrangements for the Theatre Study Abroad Program in London, England and Edinburgh, Scotland. I'll be studying acting in the U.K. for 12 days with my college this August. Extreme giddiness! Also, extreme expense, boo.

  • I find myself still wishing I read more books, but I haven't seen any titles on the shelves that have truly moved me. No interest in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight - sorry!

  • Received my grades for Spring 2008: Three A's and two B+'s. Not too shabby!

  • I caught Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on Friday night, and it was wonderful. I'm probably super biased, but it was exciting and puzzling and classic. Cate Blanchett, as a sword-swinging KGB agent, is ferocity defined. Please see icon for fierce-ness.

  • I'm 20 years old, but hopelessly addicted to Webkinz, no shame in admitting it. I recently adopted a Black Cat and a Black Poodle so far, but I long for more!

  • I want to incorporate more white clothes into my wardrobe. I think a head-to-toe white outfit is painfully chic. I also love the White Witch of Narnia, which may explain a few things.
  • Totally craving quiche. Must investigate further.

Gift for you all~ ♥

Tomorrow, I'm hopping a plane with my mom to Austin, Texas to visit my uncle over Mother's Day weekend. Mommy is excited to see her older brother, and I'm excited to see Don Quixote, the ballet being performed by the Ballet Austin company. We have tickets to the performance this Sunday, and I can't wait!

To make the plane ride more tolerable, I checked out Queen of Fashion: What Marie Antoinette Wore to the Revolution from my university's library. It's a fabulous, thick, and detailed book of Marie's history, told from a focus on her fairy tale wardrobe. I'm only a handful of pages into the biography, and it's already a wonderful read - I absolutely recommend it. The author, Caroline Weber, is never dull or long-winded, and yet still extremely knowledgeable. If you love Queen Marie or fierce fashion, you should totally look into it.

I'm taking just one class this summer, Film Appreciation, which begins on May 12. Believe it or not, it's a prerequisite for Theatre majors I've been putting off. Hopefully, it's going to be a lot of fun movies to watch and analyze. I'm already a huge classic film dork - ask me how many times I've seen Gone With the Wind!

I tried an iced Honey Latte at Starbucks this afternoon, and it was yummy. Nothing exceptional or classic, in my opinion, but still good enough. ♥

Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

What fictional character do you relate to most and why?

Absolutely Elle Woods, as played by Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde (2003). One of my favorite movies since I was 14 years old, Legally Blonde is full of positive messages. I completely empathized with Elle when I saw the movie in theaters, and I still think she is a fabulous role model!

Elle and I share love for the color pink, the fashion industry, chihuahuas, and believing in your dreams. Even when faced with adversity, we refuse to accept defeat! We're good students, hard workers, and creative thinkers. We love to give compliments (Snap Cup!) and support our friends.

And, of course, we're both blonde. ♥

Wednesday is my least favorite day of the week. In an attempt to ease the pain of the middle of the week, I'd like to call this post "Hump Day Hottie." ♥

In honor of Iron Man coming out this Friday, here's handsome gent Robert Downey, Jr.

The more I see of the new Speed Racer movie, the more I fall head over heels for Christina Ricci's adorable hair style.

I find the Louise Brooks bob to be one of the cutest cuts, and I'm tempted to buy a black wig and try it out myself. I'm a little too shy to cut my own hair that sassy and short!
